Join SCADFILM on Friday, April 18 for a SCAD Cinema Circle featuring a screening of the beloved classic film, “The Iron Giant,” and an exclusive in-conversation with special guest, motion picture designer William H. Frake III who served as the layout director for the film. In this captivating, animated feature, a young boy rescues a huge robot that has rocketed to Earth from space - and tries to protect the genial giant from a nosy government agent and the military. W

ith its perfect blend of heart, metal, and magic, “The Iron Giant” remains a timeless tale that continues to inspire audiences of all ages. At 6:00pm we’ll start with an in-conversation with guest William H. Frake, followed at 6:30pm with a special screening of “The Iron Giant”. This event is open to the public. Tickets are free for SCAD Card holders and $10 for the general public.
