The Head and the Heart, Futurebirds, Anna Graves, Coca-Cola Roxy: Seattle-based The Head and the Heart started as indie folk rockers with their 2011 debut. But after an initial burst of popularity and moves to majors Warner Brothers, then Verve, their floating, mysterious sound, and male/female front vocals can’t be considered “indie” any longer. They have returned with Aperture, out last month, reflecting their intriguing, often dreamy sound. Athens’ similarly styled Futurebirds add a psychedelic element, making this a logical pairing. Introspective folkie Graves creates an enticing triple bill. — Hal Horowitz
