Join us for Dinner and a Diva: a night of delicious food and performances of art songs and arias by Gian Carlo Menotti and his one-act opera The Telephone. In addition to an evening of music, you’ll enjoy a gourmet four-course dinner featuring hors d’ oeuvres, fresh salad, choice of two gourmet entrees, dessert, coffee/tea, and two glasses of wine, all for only $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar open at 6:15 p.m., and the dinner and show start promptly at 7p.m. “Ben hopes to propose to Lucy before leaving on his work trip. When he arrives at her apartment every attempt at a serious conversation is interrupted by a phone call for Lucy that just can’t wait. In a last ditch effort to propose without missing his train, Ben calls Lucy from a phone booth near the station.”
