KenTheMan, Center Stage — Everything’s bigger in Texas, and Houston-born artist KenTheMan’s larger-than-life rap persona is proof of that. This month, the witty emcee is hitting Atlanta for a sold-out evening at Center Stage. As the title of her — yes, KenTheMan is an intentional misnomer — latest project declares, KenTheMan has become “Kinda Famous” since breaking out in 2019 with her viral track “He Be Like.” Over the last handful of years, KenTheMan has built an impressive catalog with fan-favorite projects such as “4 Da 304’s,” “What’s My Name,” and “Back to 304’n.” Now, the 2022 XXL Freshman is promoting her latest release with the Kinda Famous Tour. Securing tickets to the Atlanta show may prove difficult. That being said, if you’re a fan of female and/or Southern rap, KenTheMan’s forthcoming concert at Center Stage is definitely worth the effort. — joshua robinson
From the venue:
Houston rapper KenTheMan delivers frank yet humorous rhymes about sex and relationships. After starting out with a more freestyle-based, punchline-heavy style, her career took off with the viral success of her commanding 2019 song “He Be Like,” which was included on her breakthrough 2020 mixtape 4 da 304’s. She continued refining her skills while remaining lyrically unfiltered on her 2021 release What’s My Name.At Vinyl
