Founded in Atlanta in 1978, The Q’s were among the first generation of Georgia’s celebrated New Wave bands that included The B-52’s, The Brains, and Pylon.

Their debut album, The Deep End 1981; 2001 became an instant classic of the new creative pop sound in the Southeast. The deluxe compilation package of their A & M Records, The Swimming Pool Q’s 1984 and Blue Tomorrow 1986, was named by Rolling Stone as one of the top reissues of 2013. Their recent series of shows at the Vista Room with Pylon, Love Tractor, and Mitch Easter were an absolute blast.
