Matt Pryor, Small Uncle, The EARL - Pryor, the former frontman for emo stars The Get Up Kids, has been solo for a while, but he took time off to clean up from an addiction he knew would worsen. That process is detailed in his recent The Salton Sea release, which will likely provide the bulk of material for this show. The music on it displays his talents as a sharp tongued, poetically inclined indie-rocker with hints of later-era R.E.M to his sound. He'll probably toss in some highlights from his productive punky run in the Kids too. - Hal Horowitz
