Brandon Santini at Blind Willie’s
CRITIC’S PICK:
Fri., Nov. 7
Brandon Santini, Blind Willie’s—He may not be atop many blues best artists lists, but harp master/singer/songwriter Brandon Santini has released one of the finest albums in that genre this year. It’s titled “Which Way Do We Go?” and it displays Santini’s blazing talents as not just a searing musician, but a terrific songwriter. He’s surely one of the finest harmonica blowers around, a convincing, gruff-voiced singer and will absolutely blow the roof off this intimate club. It’s hard to understand why he’s not more widely known, even in his genre. But once you catch his scorching live show, you’ll bring friends back to see him next time he hits town. — Hal Horowitz
