Event Description
WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
Meeting in the dead of Covid, Wesley Jensen and Maggie Merrifield struck up a loving relationship and subsequently had their brainchild emerge in the form of Wardrobe Malfunction. Sorting through the tangles of their inspirations, they would go on to create five albums between 2020 and 2022. Each one different from the last and working out nodes of psychedelic pomp, metal infusion, and pop sensibility. After feeling out the era of staying indoors, the duo would hone the live craft slowly but surely. Cropping up their first live shows in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Covington, Kentucky. Luck would meet them back home in Atlanta as they became acquainted with the scene at Bon House. In 2024, they solidified their core live line-up with the additions of bassist Griffin Houck and drummer Duncan Ward. In early 2025, the group would retreat to Lake Hartwell to record the seminal ‘Hydroglyph‘. A 9-track LP diving deep (literally) into aquatic themes and exploring the seafloor. The group closes out the 2025 season and sets their sights on the road in 2026…
