Event Description

Global Ringo blends Southern soul and cosmic groove, riding the line between cowboy jazz and backwater punk rock-and-roll. Frontman Chris Stenglein guitar and vocals (Vedado, Drive Thru Town), backed by Matt Miller’s driving bass and deep roots in Atlanta’s music scene. Jeff Cochran, a multi-instrumentalist with global credits from Little Blue to The Paisley Garden Project, anchors the rhythm with style and finesse. Sir Lawrence, a veteran horn player who’s shared the stage with the legendary James Brown, brings timeless soul and fire to the mix — together crafting Global Ringo’s raw, authentic sound.
Mark Ross & the ContraptionsKeyboard-driven, extrordinary original music, born in Atlanta, Georgia. Rife with odd musical proclivities, this band takes every left turn it can find, but all while interweaving hooks and melodies uncommon in the overall rock genre. And yes - it is rock. And pop. And funk. And borders on flavors of prog metal, at its weirdest.
The band consists of a wily cast of characters. Mark Alden Ross is a wickedly funky songwriter who’s bent on making music with all manner of vintage keyboards. Ken Green adds the twang with his guitar arsenal. Pierce Tanner holds it all together on the drums, and his background remains shrouded in mystery. The incomparable Colin Bragg brings his bass prowess, on an arsenal of bottom end weaponry.
