A lifelong singer whose roots trace back to her mother’s revival services, Robin blends the gospel passion of her upbringing with the jazz, R&B, country, and big-band influences she absorbed from her parents. Her sound is shaped by icons like Phyllis Hyman, Lalah Hathaway, Oleta Adams, Maysa Leak, and Stevie Wonder, resulting in a rich, expressive style that captivates audiences across every genre she touches.

A seasoned performer and graduate of Fort Valley State University, Robin has been a force in the music scene since joining her first band in 1988. She currently leads her R&B group, Robin Latimore and The Boys, and performs regularly with Joe Gransden’s renowned 16-piece big band. Her résumé includes sharing the stage with jazz greats such as Rachelle Ferrell, Phil Perry, Maysa, Jonathan Butler, Michael Franks, and Jeff Lorber, as well as an eight-year residency as the featured vocalist for the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta’s signature brunches.
