Sensory-friendly Morning – December

Join us for a calming, Sensory-Friendly Morning at the Mimms Museum on Friday, December 19, before its opens to the public. This special hour is designed for guests who benefit from a quieter, less stimulating environment. During this time, video volumes are lowered, flashing lights are turned off, visitor numbers are kept intentionally low, and quiet areas are available for anyone who needs them.Headphones and wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests are welcome to bring comfort items such as weighted blankets, headphones, or fidget tools. Social Story and Communication Sheets are also available for download to help plan your visit.
