Gringo Starr, The Sporrs, Lowtown, The EARL - Twenty years and eight studio albums is something rejoice over, which is what Gringo Starr is celebrating on this anniversary tour. The multi-instrumentalist quartet will feature songs from Sweethearts (2025), an eclectic set of the indie pop these guys have been crafting for two decades. You have to love any group that knows, let alone covers, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, which is just one of the idiosyncratic quirks that make Gringo Starr so delightfully unpredictable. But they will likely dig back into their catalog, too, for deeper tracks to celebrate a milestone few other local acts can claim. - Hal Horowitz
