WRFG Resistance Cinema screening of ¡Las Sandinistas!

Please join us for a screening of the 2018 documentary ¡Las Sandinistas! The film examines the victories and failures of the Sandinista Revolution in Nicaragua, particularly the unique role that women played in the revolution, and how they faced many of the same challenges that women face everywhere in the world. As usual, the film will be followed by a discussion.

Note: Although the film offers some criticisms of the revolution, it is not our intent to present counter-revolutionary perspectives, but rather to have an honest, nuanced discussion of an inspiring socialist formation and what we can learn from it in our work today.
