From the venue:

In the new documentary on PBS “From Rails to Trails” actor Edward Norton tells the story of an unexpected grassroots movement: the effort to transform long-neglected railroad lines into public trails for walkers and cyclists. Despite intense pushbacks and legal challenges, advocates worked to secure these routes for community use, ultimately helping build a nationwide system of traffic-free pathways that boost public and health and connection to nature.

We’ll screen “From Rails to Trails” followed by a live, can’t-miss discussion with the leaders shaping the next chapter of the rails-to-trails revolution. After the screening, join us for a special reception with delicious hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and refreshments.
