Alabama Shakes, Mon Rovia, Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park - Considering the substantial accomplishments frontwoman Brittany Howard achieved after putting her Alabama Shakes outfit on hiatus in 2018, it's odd she would return to the confines of that Americana-styled band with whom she released two crackling and very successful albums. But they have a new one just out and now tour again, surely playing old songs that still sound potent like "Hold On," along with a generous dose of fresh ones spearheaded by Howard's larger-than-life personality and riveting stage presence. - Hal Horowitz
