Lumiere Lounge Jazz Talk with Trey Wright

Join us for our first interactive Jazz Talk with KSU Professor Trey Wright presented in partnership with the Jazz At The Strand series. There are four scheduled presentations to come starting with the February event:

Thursday, February 12, 2026: “The Making of Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue”.

The remaining Strand lecture series is as follows:

March 12, 2026: “Night and Day: The Genius of Cole Porter”
April 9, 2026: “Take Five: The Legacy of the Dave Brubeck Quartet”
May 14, 2026: “Art of the Duo: Trey Wright and Saxophonist Mace Hibbard”

EVENT DETAILS:

One drink ticket will be included with admission. Doors Open at 7:00PM with the presentation at 7:30PM.

Seating is limited to 30 guests. All guests must be 21 and older to attend this event.

ABOUT TREY WRIGHT:

Trey Wright is a jazz guitarist, composer, and recording artist based in Roswell, Ga. Trey spent his formative years as a musician in Athens performing with the jazz quartet Squat; a six-time winner of Best Jazz Band at the Flagpole Athens Music Awards and a featured artist at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Bel Chere, the Twilight Athens Jazz Festival, the Cherry Blossom Festival, Harvest Midtown, and Athfest.
