Choker
CRITIC'S PICK:
Fri. Jun. 12
Choker, Arima Ederra, Hell at The Masquerade - For a year as charged and trying as 2026 has been, boy, has it blessed music fans with some pretty incredible music. Two of my favorite records to drop earlier this year were Detroit-born singer-songwriter Choker's "Heaven Ain't Sold" and Atlanta-born Ethiopian singer Arima Ederra's "A Rush To Nowhere." As fate would have it, both Choker and Ederra are joining forces for the first five dates of the former's brief Heaven Ain't Sold Tour, and their last stop together will be in Atlanta on Friday, June 12. While their intensely intimate and heartfelt music would slap in Purgatory, you can expect to see them both put on a beautiful show in Hell at the Masquerade. - joshua robinson
