The PR Experience is a dynamic jazz duo based in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring trumpeter Nelson Render and trombonist Marvin Pryor. With over 50 years of combined performance experience, the duo blends jazz, funk, and neo-soul through a distinctive horn-front ensemble.

Their professional résumé includes performances, recordings, and tours with legendary artists such as Ray Charles, The Ohio Players, Cameo, Najee, Mike Phillips, Alex Bugnon, Eric Roberson, The Chi-Lites, and Third World, among others. They’ve opened for major acts and served as preferred entertainers for celebrities like Rickey Smiley, Robin Givens, and Judge Glenda Hatchett.

The PR Experience has been featured in Lifetime Network’s “Steel Magnolias” remake directed by Kenny Leon, and made appearances on Fox 5’s Good Day Atlanta, WCLK 91.9, and KCOH Houston Jazz Radio.

Performance highlights include headlining spots at the Stone Mountain Jazz Festival, Jazz on the River, IMR Indie Music Festival, Sweet Auburn Festival, and Anthem’s International Music Festival.
