Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials, Blind Willie's - Ten years for one small music club to stay in business is impressive. Forty years is unheard of. But Blind Willie's has somehow managed to weather the various storms these last four decades that threatened the club's existence and has come out victorious. Celebrate this impressive anniversary with a weekend of great live music (and food) headlined tonight by longtime Willie's visitors Lil' Ed and his veteran band. They go back even further than Willie's, having formed in 1975, and always throw down the Chicago slide guitar, danceable, party-time goodness. - Hal Horowitz
