Brandy Clark, Buckhead Theater - Like many country music songwriters, Clark's career started behind the scenes, writing hits for Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and others. Although her own albums, starting with 12 Stories (2013) were critically acclaimed, it took until another Brandi, (Carlile) stepped in to produce and work on her stripped-down, beautifully crafted self-titled release (2023) for Clark's own music to resonate with a larger audience. This "evening with" allows her the space to sing compositions she recorded and those penned for others, along with providing stories and between-song chatter that'll leave everyone closer to her talents and winning personality. - Hal Horowitz
