City Winery Atlanta and Southern Soul Brunch & Line Dance Party present: Jake Carter live on June 6th at 12pm!

Jake Carter is a Mississippi-based artist, producer, songwriter, and musician known for his signature soulful sound, which combines elements of traditional blues and Southern soul with modern high-energy hip-hop, trap, and bounce music. Originally from New York State's Hudson Valley region, Jake inherited a natural talent and passion for music from his father, a lifelong blues instrumentalist who tragically passed away when Jake was less than 1 year old. Jake has been performing live for crowds of all kinds since the age of 11. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and has spent years as a working musician, playing lead guitar, harmonica, saxophone, and keyboard, all at a professional level. As an artist, Jake began releasing his own music upon moving to Atlanta in 2020. A string of self-produced hit singles including "Moving On" and "Boom" have since earned him a substantial following across the deep South. Jake relocated to Canton, MS in 2023 and has continued to grow his audience tremendously through social media, as well as performing at countless trail rides, juke joints, and nightclubs. His hard work and dedication to building a career in Mississippi have already earned him notable opportunities such as performing for over 6,000 people at the Mississippi Coliseum and opening for one of the last original living-legends of the blues, Bobby Rush. As his catalog expands, Jake Carter further establishes himself as an undeniable talent and a true force to be reckoned with in today's music industry.
