Desirée Dawson is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter based in Vancouver BC with roots in South Carolina. She is a breath of fresh air in the music industry, with her powerful yet soothing voice, engaging lyricism and inspiring live performances. Whether an intimate venue playing solo, in harmony with her band playing to thousands, leading sound healing workshops or anywhere in between, her versatility allows her to bring her gifts to stages and spaces of any size.

When touring locally or internationally her aim is to build community and symbiotic bonds with the land and those she connects with. She is a two-time SXSW music video winner and JUNO Award nominee for Best Adult Contemporary Album of the year. She has garnered millions of views and streams for her releases such as, ‘I Am Blessed’ and ‘Chop Some Wood’ and has released multiple singles and an EP throughout 2025 with a full length album coming out Summer 2026. The Little Mercies are known as hosts of joy, keepers of tradition and builders of community through sound and movement. ‘Boy Genius meets Dixie Chicks,’ The Little Mercies’ music has been compared to inspirations such as Gillian Welch, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Iris Dement. At the core of their artistry is community. With professional backgrounds in music therapy, teaching artistry, and nursing, they create interactive performances for community centers, schools, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Mira Lazuli is an Algerian-Quebecois folk artist based in New Orleans. They write songs about queer relationships, healing and self love in a style that mixes dark folk, old-time Appalachian music and indie folk.
