Get ready for a night of funk, blues, and classic rock as Brother Fat returns to the FTE Inside stage! This free show brings together an incredible lineup of musicians for an energetic blend of genres and improvisational jams.

Brother Fat was formed in honor of the late Count M’Butu, Grammy Award–winning member of The Derek Trucks Band, first coming together to perform at his memorial in 2021. The band’s name carries forward that legacy.

Known as a percussion-driven jam band, Brother Fat moves seamlessly across funk, blues, and classic rock, delivering dynamic performances that can shift from tight grooves to expansive, spacey improvisations. With multiple songwriters in the group, they also bring original material that’s sure to surprise even seasoned listeners.
