Selwyn Birchwood, Live In The DTL: 5th Annual City of Lawrenceville Juneteenth Celebration Concert, Lawrenceville Lawn - The innovative, hard touring, Florida-based guitarist Birchwood has often played here - and each time the shows get better. His "electric swamp funkin' blues" (also the title of his new album) sounds exactly like what that description indicates. Unlike most blues artists, he doesn't record - and generally avoids playing - covers, preferring to focus on his gutsy voice and soulful originals like "Living in a Burning House," his most streamed track.
