Selwyn Birchwood, Blind Willie's - The innovative, hard touring, Florida-based guitarist Birchwood has often played here - and each time the shows get better. His "electric swamp funkin' blues" (also the title of his new album) sounds exactly like what that description indicates. Unlike most blues artists, he doesn't record - and generally avoids playing - covers, preferring to focus on his gutsy voice and soulful originals like "Living in a Burning House," his most streamed track.
