Peter Karp, Blind Willie's - Roots rocking singer/songwriter Karp, and his roaring band featuring former Delta Moon guitar-master Mark Johnson, shift their location from Eddie's to the more blues-oriented Blind Willie's. They feature songs from Karp's recent release, Jersey Town, his first in five years - and one of his best. These blues-based, but not entirely blues, rockers - and the wonderful gospel-inspired "Faith" - nail their sweet spot in tough, streetwise roots music, led by Karp's honest, grainy vocals and a group that kicks into high gear especially live.
