Meet Fresco Trey, a rising Memphis-based rapper and singer with a real knack for crafting earworm melodies and writing relatable and conversational lyrics. Back in May, Frisco Trey dropped off a seven-track EP titled "NUMB," and it is the perfect introduction to who he is as an artist. The album is devised to conceptually represent a string of therapy visits, with each song providing a glimpse into the sessions that explore what's going on in his life. Memphis-raised Fresco Trey’s musical journey began unexpectedly when his sister gifted him a studio session for his birthday, diverting his path from a promising basketball career. Since then, he has released a string of singles, including a revamped version of “Feel Good” featuring and the emotional powerhouse “Need You.”
With his signature sound characterized by gentle melodies and raw emotion, Fresco Trey’s music speaks to a generation searching for meaning and introspection. His debut EP, “Heartbreak Diaries,” weaves together poignant ballads and hard-hitting bangers, while his sophomore effort, “Heartbreak Diaries 2,” features a stirring collaboration with .
