For 25 years, Jubu was the voice behind the guitar in Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. That warmth, that recognition, that tone that made entire arenas feel like a living room — that was him.

Now stepping out as a solo artist, Jubu brings a sound rooted in Oakland and shaped by decades alongside Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige, and George Duke. His work with Tony! Toni! Toné! is in the DNA. So is everything he absorbed from four decades of playing for people who showed up because music still matters to them.
