CRITIC’S PICK
Thurs., Oct. 29
Ethen Regan, Lily Kershaw, Terminal West — Regan is often described as a Gen Z folkie, which speaks to his age (just 21) and string-based tunes informed by roots styles while sounding contemporary. He recorded a few indie albums and EPs but was recently picked up by a major label which released the appropriately titled Young Regan. His easy vocals dovetail with songs that are as pleasant as a warm breeze on a spring day. Opening singer/songwriter Kershaw plays music from Pain & More (2024) and may throw in some covers of popular songs like “My Way” she has reinvented on a few EPs. — Hal Horowitz
