Chuck Leavell, Buckhead Theater — The show is titled “Songs and Stories” — and veteran keyboard man Leavell has accumulated plenty of both in a career that reaches back over 50 years. It’s quite a musical leap from The Allman Brothers Band to Sea Level to his status as musical director for the Rolling Stones. Plus, there is his significant work as an arborist (which inspired the title The Tree Man, a recent documentary on the Middle Georgia homesteader). Leavell has plenty of material for an evening of terrific music and riveting tales of his eclectic career on and off stage. Not to be missed. — Hal Horowitz
