Sat., Sep 19 - So much wonderful music this weekend. One sure bet is the Saturday night double-bill at Thinking Man Tavern featuring FLAP and Kitty Valet.
The latter is a newly formed duo with studio wizard and pedal steel twanger Steve Seachrist (Evan Stepp & the Piners) and violist Katie Butler (W8ING4UFOS).
Seachrist recorded ‘DeKalb County Guitar,’ the newly released bombshell album by whirling guitar dervishes Matt Miller and Andy Hopkins, now available on vinyl, CD and via downloadable bits. - Doug DeLoach
