25th Anniversary Candler Park Fall Festival (Day 2)
CRITIC’S PICK
Sun., Oct. 4
Candler Park Fall Fest, Candler Park — The music part of this annual neighborhood shindig delivers two stages (electric and acoustic) over two days featuring impressive, mostly locally-based roots acts. This second day includes bluegrass, maybe newgrass better describes the veteran Mosier Brothers and Friends, along with the blues-rocking women in Blue Velvet Atlanta. And don’t miss longtime folk/bluesman singer/songwriter Ralph Roddenberry earlier on the acoustic stage. — Hal Horowitz
From the venue:
FALL FEST IN CANDLER PARK is among the most beloved festivals in metro Atlanta. Two days of music, art, food, games, rides and special attractions draw 20,000 people a day to a beautiful in-town park and onto the streets of the surrounding neighborhood. And the cost of entrance? Free.
BEST OF ALL: Every dollar raised by this volunteer-run event goes straight back to the community! The Candler Park Neighborhood Organization uses that money to fund critical infrastructure improvements and upgrades to the park itself. We hope to see you
there.
