Renee Crouser
Born in Panama City, Florida into a military family Renee Crouser has had the opportunity to experience many countries and cultures. Her joy for drawing and painting became evident very early on and turned into a spirited lifelong hobby.
Renee enjoyed seven years as a sign painter, a title held by few women, until she moved on to medical administration after the birth of her third child. When her father in law was diagnosed with cancer in early 2009, she quit her job to care for him. During this time, she found great comfort in her craft. After his passing, she dedicated her time to her art. In 2015, Renee made art her profession.
Inspired by human expression and connection in everyday life, her work has evolved through her own experiences coupled with a fascination with dramatic light. Renee paints with several media such as pastel, watercolor, pencil, and oil. Being a self-taught and independent artist allows her the liberty to express herself through them all. Renee attends various art groups to share information and techniques and strives to improve her skill with every painting.
