    Willoughby Way
Sure, we could've opted for Piedmont Park or any one of Atlanta's other popular public nookie nooks, but we'd be remiss if we didn't steer away from the obvious - and into the cul-de-sac within spitting distance of the "CL" offices on WILLOUGHBY WAY. Sure, we could've opted for Piedmont Park or any one of Atlanta's other popular public nookie nooks, but we'd be remiss if we didn't steer away from the obvious - and into the cul-de-sac within spitting distance of the "CL" offices on WILLOUGHBY WAY. On the edge of Freedom Park, this kudzu-blanketed love nest provides perfect cover for all manner of lusty escapades. It's also a favorite spot with ladies for whom love and money are one in the same (i.e. prostitutes). Granted, things can get a little dicey amid the used rubbers, soiled clothing, bloody gauze and empty flask bottles of cheap liquor. (Last year, one poor soul was found shot to death in a car, his pants down around his ankles.) But what's love without a little danger? less...

Piedmont Park Meadow 10th Street and Charles Allen Drive The best part of Screen on the Green, say some frequent film-goers, is actually the pre-show picnicking. Hundreds of campers gather on the grass for two or three hours of chatter before dusk. Once the sun goes down and the films start to flicker on screen, though, the mood changes perceptively. Listen carefully over the whimpering dogs and 10th Street traffic and you can just make out the muffled necking noises echoing through the park. It's risky, yes, what with several dozen people within earshot. But a little Chardonnay, Cary Grant on screen and the stars above are a powerful tonic for romance. less...

Starlight Drive-In Theatre and Flea Market
Built in 1949, this six-screen outdoor theater is the crown jewel in the Oldknow family's drive-in empire. And with retro charm working in its favor, Starlight is our top pick for backseat trysts. Although 2 million people visit Piedmont Park each year and the place is often bursting its capacity, CL readers have somehow found a way to copulate in one of the busiest public, outdoor spots in town. Pre-planning can definitely drain the mojo from bucolic trysts, but before attempting to make the beast with two backs in the heart of Midtown, do schedule around the interactive walking tours Saturdays at 11 a.m. April- October and Senior Day the first Wednesday of every month. less...
