Historic Fire Station #19 has been serving Virginia-Highland and the surrounding community since June 1, 1925. The local fire company has kicked off a fundraising drive to restore and renovate this unique landmark. The plans call for reinstating the distinctive arch-door truck bay, and updating the interior spaces and building systems while preserving the features that give this structure its distinct bungalow charm.
