Trees Atlanta

Call: (404) 522-4097 or visit www.treesatlanta.org
The 23-year-old nonprofit has planted more than 68,000 trees in metro Atlanta and now is planning the city’s first arboretum – or “tree museum” – along the Beltline. Trees not only are beautiful and provide shade, but they also reduce the effect of the “urban heat island” and suck carbon out of the air that otherwise might contribute to global warming. Trees Atlanta always needs people to do its spadework.

Gather 'Round Reynoldstown

Thursday December 7, 2017 06:00 pm EST
Trees Atlanta invites you to join us for Gather ‘Round Reynoldstown, a campfire-themed party benefitting Atlanta’s urban canopy. Come hang out around the fire in our backyard on Thursday, December 7th from 6-9 PM – toast some marshmallows, have a couple of beers (shout out to our friends at Eventide and My Friend’s Growler Shop!), and enjoy the music of talented local songwriter Brian Revels. We’ll have hot drinks and snacks from our new neighbors at Golden Eagle – once we’re done, feel free to walk up the block and check out their awesome spot in the old rail station! The party is only $25, and there will be other opportunities to support our work through raffles and donations.
Cost: $25
