Thursday February 20, 2020 09:00 AM EST
From the venue:By 2050, scientists predict the city of Atlanta and the entire metro Atlanta region will more than double in population size. As the area grows, so will the need for natural infrastructure. This year’s Canopy Conference will address the care for more trees in cities and discuss how city leaders and individuals can help lessen the damages caused by global climate change. Conference registration includes coffee and light refreshments in the morning, a locally-sourced lunch, optional lunchtime workshops and networking, and a free tree seedling in honor of Georgia Arbor Day.
