The original Chick-fil-A location. was originally founded as the Dwarf Grill in 1946 by founder S. Truett Cathy (died 2014). Cathy changed the name of the restaurant to Chick-fil-A in 1967. The Dwarf House restaurant features items on the menu that aren’t a part of the Chick-fil-A chain.
