Replacing the shuttered Cafe 640, Café Highlands bills itself as "progressive American cuisine with the atmosphere of a neighborhood bar and grill." Chef and restaurateur Stephen McGuffin serves dishes such as roasted chicken with ricotta gnocchi and grilled mushrooms; pork schnitzel with mustard spätzle and braised cabbage, and a tagliatelli pasta with capers and artichokes in a smoked tomato sauce.
