Kings of Leon, with brothers Anthony Caleb Followill (vocals, guitar), Ivan Nathan Followill (drums), Michael Jared Followill (bass guitar), and cousin Cameron Followill (lead guitar), opened their Mechanical Bull Tour in Atlanta on Wednesday night to a packed Philips Arena crowd. The Nashville-based band played a 27-song set that included three encores. The band has been on hiatus since October 2011 and is touring in support of the group's Mechanical Bull, which was released in September 2013.
Opening was Gary Clark Jr, the Austin-based guitarist that played several dates with the Rolling Stones on their most recent tour, and performed with Keith Urban at the 2014 Grammy's.
