According to WSB-TV, the arrest of Alix Catherine Tichelman has prompted investigators to reexamine the death of former Masquerade owner Dean Riopelle.
Tichelman appeared in a Santa Cruz County court on Wed., July 9 on drug and manslaughter charges. Police have accused the Northview HIgh School graduate of injecting Forrest Hayes, 51, with a lethal dose of heroin and then leaving him to die aboard his yacht near Santa Cruz, Calif. Tichelman is the ex-girlfriend of Riopelle, and someone with her name commented on the Crib Notes obituary we ran Sept. 25. The same commenter also posted a message on a story involving the Judies former frontman Warren Ullom's 20-year prison sentence.
