On Peachtree Street, an officer saw a 63-year-old man screaming and waving a cane in people's faces. The man was wearing a red and white shirt and blue pants. He grabbed a cup of coffee from a nearby table and threw it on the sidewalk. The officer asked the man if he had another place to go. "I'll kick your motherfucking ass," responded the 63-year-old.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to jail.

An officer was working an extra job at a nightclub on Peachtree Street when he saw a 34-year-old Ohio man climbing the railing at the adjacent pizza parlor. The officer told him to stop climbing. The 34-year-old refused and started screaming and yelling. The officer again told him to stop climbing. This time, the 34-year-old complied. Then, the 34-year-old started staring at the officer.

The officer turned his attention to something else. Then, the 34-year-old punched the officer in the throat, almost knocking him down. A struggle ensued. The officer eventually secured the 34-year-old, who yelled, "I am a goddamn officer in the United States Army. I can do what the hell I want. Fuck you, I am an Army officer."

He was arrested and taken to jail.

A 60-year-old woman on Plainville Drive said someone damaged her large scrub brush, causing it to split in half. She said she left the brush at the end of her driveway, near the street.

A 25-year-old woman on Greenwood Avenue said representatives from a collection agency have been calling her, asking to speak with a specific man. She told them she doesn't know this man, and he doesn't live at her apartment. She asked the representatives to stop calling her. She spoke with both managers and they said she is lying and they will continue to call her home. She estimates the collection representatives have called her about 40 times.

An officer responded to a fight at a McDaniel Street apartment. A 37-year-old woman said her live-in boyfriend, age 35, kicked down her door and took some beer. She said she had kicked him out of the apartment earlier that day.

The boyfriend admitted to kicking in the door.

He was charged with criminal trespass and taken to jail.

A 23-year-old man on Cedar Avenue called police to report that his brother had used his name when he was arrested. The 23-year-old said he was on the phone with his sister, and his father was talking to his sister using three-way calling. The 23-year-old overheard his father tell his sister that she needed to get her brother out of jail, and that he was listed at the jail under the 23-year-old's name. The brother was in jail for possession of crack cocaine.

An officer responded to a burglary at an apartment on Collier Road. A 25-year-old man said he had heard a knock on the door. He opened the door and saw four men, one of whom had a semi-automatic pistol. The men demanded to come in. The four men searched the apartment until they found the 25-year-old's money ($500), which was rolled up and hidden in the linen closet. The men also took $50 from his roommate's wife's wallet.

The officer looked around the apartment and saw that the 25-year-old had "a post office style weigh scale in the living room and several items, ranging from packaged food to cosmetics, set up for sale in the apartment."

The 25-year-old told police he sold the items to his friends and family, and used the scale to weigh vegetables.

At about 8 p.m., the fugitive team went to investigate a 27-year-old man. "Upon arrival, we observed [the 27-year-old] inside the apartment, performing sexual intercourse with a woman. I knocked and announced it was police; however, there was no response and a refusal to answer the door," reported an officer.

Police forced entry into the apartment and served the man with a city warrant for armed robbery.

On Langston Avenue, a 38-year-old woman said her live-in boyfriend (who is missing some teeth) hit her in the back of the head with a trowel because she wouldn't fix his dinner. She suffered minor cuts on the head.

A 47-year-old woman on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive said her sister-in-law repeatedly calls her home and says, "Bitch, you think you are slick. You may not be looking for me, but I'm looking for you." The 47-year-old said her sister-in-law is upset because the sister-in-law's brother, who is recently deceased, left everything to his wife (the 47-year-old).

A 29-year-old man has received threatening messages on his cell phone from an Alabama man who is currently dating his wife. (The 29-year-old and his wife are separated, and they are having confrontations about money.) The Alabama man said, "I'm looking for you and I know where you stay. I don't care about y'all being married and I'm going to fuck you up."

On Sylvan Road, a 24-year-old man said his live-in girlfriend, age 17, got angry when she found out that he had taken their 3-month-old daughter to get her ears pierced. She was so irate that he left the apartment and spent the night at his uncle's house until she calmed down. When he returned home, he discovered that the mini-blinds had been torn from the window, the bedroom door was damaged, and his 9mm gun was missing.??
