A clerk at a gas station on Browns Mill Road called police and said a woman needed help. Police arrived. The woman said her vision was going and she couldn't see very good (sic). A paramedic said the woman needed treatment, and she agreed. The woman said she got onto the highway and started driving. "She reported that she lived in Cleveland, Ga., and did not believe me when I told her she was in the city of Atlanta," the officer wrote. She was taken to a hospital.

On Ponce de Leon Avenue, a male officer and a female officer were working undercover. A woman approached and asked if they were cops. "We replied no and she asked to see my penis to prove that I was not," wrote the male officer. The woman asked how much he could spend. "$40," he said. She said she would have sex with him for $100, and she would let the female investigator watch and give her oral sex as well. The woman, who wore brown sandals, was arrested. Police found a dagger in a leather sheath in her purse.

A cableman was at a home on Third Avenue, owned by a 30-year-old man. The 30-year-old said he took the cableman's check for services. The cableman responded by grabbing his arm and putting him in a headlock. Police arrived, and the cableman admitted to putting him in a headlock. The cableman was charged with acting violent with another person.

A 44-year-old woman approached an apartment on Bolton Road and asked the resident, a heavyset woman, to buy some cosmetics. The heavyset woman responded by punching her in the eye. Police arrived in time to see the heavyset woman fleeing on foot

A male police investigator was working undercover at a motel on Cheshire Bridge Road. Two men approached and said, "How's business tonight?" The investigator replied, "I am not working. I'm looking." They struck up a conversation, during which the two men agreed to have anal sex with the investigator for $80 each. The men, ages 41 and 30, were arrested.

About a week later, the same police investigator was undercover at the same motel on Cheshire Bridge Road. The investigator was in the parking lot, when a 38-year-old man approached him. During the conversation, the 38-year-old attempted to lure the investigator into a back room to have sex. The investigator said, "I'd love to, but I'm waiting for some Tina (methamphetamines) to arrive." The 38-year-old said, "I have some on me — we can share." The investigator convinced the 38-year-old to accompany him to a nearby parking lot, to pick up the fictitious meth that the investigator was waiting on. In the parking lot, uniformed cops arrested the 38-year-old, who had some meth in his wallet.

A woman parked her Acura Legend on New Town Circle. When she returned to the car, she realized that the gas tank was filled with candy bars. She suspects her ex-boyfriend, a 48-year-old man from Conley, Ga.

At 9:30 a.m. in Piedmont Park, a 26-year-old man got into a fight with another man over some clothes. (The other man wore pants with gold-and-black stripes, white shoes and a #15 shirt.) The 26-year-old said the other man pulled out a knife and threatened to cut him if he didn't leave him alone. The 26-year-old ran away, and in the process, suffered a small scrape to the arm and his small toe. The other man fled before police arrived.

At Hartsfield Airport, police investigated a disturbance, and they asked a 33-year-old man in black boots to leave the south parking plaza. About 15 minutes later, police got word that the 33-year-old was sitting in front of an airport bus, preventing it from going forward. Police then arrested him. Earlier, a witness saw the 33-year-old jump on the hood of a Ford F150, denting the hood. Another witness saw him jump on the hood of a police car, causing dents. The 33-year-old said he had been smoking crack all day, "which is apparently why he was out of control," an officer wrote. He went to jail.



At Hartsfield Airport, an officer responded to a call about an injured person at the south baggage claim. Atlanta Fire Rescue was with a 44-year-old woman from Key Largo, Fla., who was very drunk. She said she had a hotel room in downtown Atlanta. The officer asked if she could walk to the taxi stand, so he could get her a cab. She had a very hard time walking there, due to her drunkenness. The officer helped her into a cab. The cabdriver asked her to prepay, and she struggled with her wallet for several minutes. Then, she vomited all over herself and the inside of the taxi. Police removed her from the cab and put her in a wheelchair. She kept vomiting and passed out.

Then, she woke up a little and refused to go to a hospital. After several minutes of trying to speak, the woman said her husband was at a different hotel. Police called her husband, and he came to Hartsfield to collect his drunk wife.

A 39-year-old man on Martin Street had a problem with his ex-girlfriend. He woke up one morning and noticed that someone had spray-painted "Fuck you" on his front door and garage. Later, the ex-girlfriend called and said she would pay for the damages.

A 49-year-old man in a camouflage shirt walked into a Buckhead bookstore on Peachtree Road. He selected a Civil War history book and put it in his nylon backpack. Then, he tried to leave the store. He was arrested for shoplifting. He was arrested and taken to jail.
