It’s not a reincarnation of the long-gone Arts Fest in Piedmont Park, but the inaugural ATLANTA ARTS FESTIVAL is intended to satisfy the city’s secret longing for a fall arts-and-craft festival in our largest park. Friday’s event is a paid-admission preview party; the rest of the weekend is free. In addition to a 200-booth artists’ market, there will be live music, food vendors, and glass-blowing and pottery demonstrations.
