What began seven years ago as a modest street party put on by a group of friends has blossomed into a full-blown festival. DRAFT ON TAFT, a Midtown block party spanning Eighth to 10th streets across from Piedmont Park, returns for a full day of open-container fun Sat., JUNE 16. Tickets buy unrestricted access to food, live music, beer, beer and more beer. Proceeds benefit local organizations including the Shepherd Spinal Center, the Midtown Neighbors Association and the Painted Lion Society.
