These days, he oversees his own label, Studio 43 Records. In 2003, Burns and partner Ryan Glover launched the clothing line RyanKenny because "We love to dress. We love Prada, Gucci — all the high-priced lines. But they don't fit black people well all the time. So we thought, 'We should make some clothes.'" The line, which is available at Saks Fifth Avenue, was introduced to the masses in Jay-Z's "Change Clothes" video.Burns created and co-owns the new Distinguido brand of tequila along with another business partner, Paris White.Burns recently made his acting debut playing a thug in the music video "Testify" by Common. He's currently in production on his first starring role in the short film "Meeting Mr. Kenny" directed by Darrell M. Smith, which tells the story of a young boy searching for something beyond his ordinary, mediocre life. Burns plans to take the film on the festival circuit and will host a number of premiere parties.A husband and father to two young children, Burns is quick to clarify assumptions that his life is just one big party. "People look at Kenny Burns and see the lifestyle, see me standing on the bar with my shirt off. They don't know that I get up in the morning and take my son to play basketball."
