Profile - Sabrina ‘Rose’ & Seven

This laid-back duo was spotted kicking back one weekday night at Cabbagetown’s cool spot, Carroll Street Cafe.

Sabrina looks perfectly hip in her easygoing ensemble. She picked up this striped newsboy-style hat at Target. Her blue long-sleeved T-shirt is an old Urban Outfitter purchase. The jeans were a thrift store find, and her sneakers are made by surf clothing company Roxy.Sabrina is a singer in the band Slick & Rose, along with her longtime friend Nikki “Slick.” Sabrina told Dirty Looks she’d always wanted to be a performer, though at one point thought of abandoning her dream to become a guaranteed money maker - a lawyer.

Seven of Dojo 5 Productions is producing Slick & Rose’s second album. Though he wouldn’t give himself props, Sabrina let it slip that he produced the OutKast single “Roses” on the Speakerboxxx/The Love Below album.

Also sporting a hat, Seven found this NY Hat Co. fedora in Miami. Nothing works better than the classic white tee, this one from Hanes. Seven only wears Diesel jeans and his kicks are old-school favorites, red Chuck Taylors..
