Festival Preview:

With more than 50 acts from old-school to no-school, representing all three coasts, this year’s A3C HIP-HOP FESTIVAL, Thurs.-Sat., MARCH 20-22, is sorta like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Or one of those Hungry-Man TV dinners by Swanson. You could get full from Thursday’s thinking man’s MCs such as Del the Funky Homosapien and Jeru the Damaja. But then you wouldn’t have room for Friday’s Juice Crew reunion, featuring icons Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Marley Marl, Roxanne Shante, Craig G and MC Shan, or Saturday’s Aceyalone. To top it off, the future of Atlanta hip-hop is well-fed and represented with acts including B.O.B., Proton, Gripplyaz and Hollyweerd. No doggie bags allowed. $45. Times vary. CW Midtown Music Complex, 1374 W. Peachtree St. 404-885-1365. www.a3cfestival.com.
