Vodka Eyeballing: Self-torture for the cool kids
Vodka shots in your eye is the latest stupid human trick.

Ah, the beloved drinking game.
Though Smirnoff claims it no longer wants you to "ice" your bros, the game is still relatively popular among college kids and the oh-so-trendy Facebook staff. However, a new and totally misguided "drinking" trend among teens will likely cause permanent eye damage.
CBS Atlanta calls it vodka eyeballing, and it's about as painful as it sounds. Kids fill a shot glass full of Mr. Boston's finest and administer it directly into their eye — or pour it straight from the bottle like saline solution — believing it will get them drunk quicker, as well as win cool points from friends and YouTube viewers. Sorry to ruin your fun, kiddos, but the eye actually absorbs very little alcohol. Even one shot can cause permanent corneal damage and/or blindness, according to Dr. Fahrooq Ashraf, medical director of Atlanta Vision Institute. As if you really needed a doctor to tell you, this is a bad idea.
What happened to enjoying booze the good ol' fashioned way? Kids ruin everything.
