Omnivore - Concentrics no longer operating Stats, 30 Tables, Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria

Whoa. I just got an email from Concentrics' PR folks announcing that they are turning over management of Stats, 30 Tables, and Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria to Legacy Property Group. It appears that Concentrics has been operating these restaurants for the property owners, but is no longer involved. The press release reads in part:

Concentrics Restaurants has ceased their development and management contract with Legacy Property Group restaurants’ STATS, Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria, 30 Tables and 11 Stories. Moving forward Legacy Property Group will operate their concepts under internal management. Sage Restaurant Group, The Glenn Hotels’ management company, will now handle food and beverage operations at 30 Tables and 11 Stories.Concentrics Restaurants was retained in 2007 to develop the overall concept and design as well as manage STATS. A partnership with 790 The Zone for a live broadcast booth along with the first beer table tap system in the US, immediately placed STATS on the national map. In 2009, Concentrics Restaurants partnered with Legacy Property Group to re-launch the food and beverage concepts at The Glenn Hotel, hence 30 Tables, a southern inspired lobby restaurant, and 11 Stories, a rooftop lounge were born. Later that same year, Concentrics was signed to conceptualize a pizza concept in the space adjoining STATS and Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria launched to strong reviews.

I have no idea why the relationship with Legacy ended, but I think it's a good move on Concentrics' part. These restaurants have not lived up to other Concentrics restaurants in quality, and done little for the company's reputation.
